Weddings at The Brooklyn Arts Center
Many brides dream of exchanging vows in a beautiful church. It allows them to combine the legal ramifications of marriage with their religious beliefs; it brings a special spirituality to the ceremony that they are unable to obtain elsewhere. Brides are welcome to use the services of the on-site Presbyterian reverend, but they can also use their own clergy to officiate the service.
Weddings at The Brooklyn Arts Center allow couples to exchange vows in a church that has an exceptionally beautiful ambiance. The renovated church, originally built in 1888, features dramatic, high ceilings, stained-glass windows that majestically arch, and soft lighting from multiple chandeliers. Additionally, the Brooklyn Arts Center has a sophisticated LED lighting system that can transform the subtle lighting used during a ceremony to a colorful hue that adds a festive, fun atmosphere to the reception. Couples planning to have their reception in the church can choose their own vendors to cater and decorate the room. A generous stage and spacious dance area add spectacular touches to make the Brooklyn Arts Center at St. Andrews an exceptional wedding venue. Brides who prefer an outdoor ceremony can exchange vows in the gorgeous courtyard which accommodates up to 250 guests. Lush trees and greenery surround the courtyard to create a quiet, intimate, and private setting.
Regardless of the ceremony site, every bride will want to use the lovely bridal dressing room and retreat area located on the first floor of the reverend’s house. This serene area is ideal for brides who need to dress, apply make-up, confer with bridesmaids, or relax before the festivities.
In contrast to many other wedding venues, you can enjoy the facilities for as long as you like during your wedding day. The staff at The Brooklyn Arts Center recognizes that your enjoyment should have no time limit as you party late into the night or dance away the afternoon. Additionally, the unrestricted time frame provides your photographer with plenty of opportunity to capture the joy and jubilation that will make your wedding unforgettable.
